» CRYOLIGHT's highly intelligent technology enables exact measurement of the degree of cold directly at the centre of the site of treatment. At the specified treatment distance, liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) at a pressure of approx. 0.2 to 0.4 bars is fired through the pistol at the site to be treated.
» Measurement of the skin temperature in the area being treated and the automatic switching off function allow for precise work on the face or on recently sutured wounds.
» Due to the cold shock, the brain receives a signal through the nerves that causes the blood vessels to dilate and the lymph channels to activate. Inflammatory substances (such as prostaglandin, serotonin and histamine) are broken down by this process and pain is relieved. Lymph pump stimulation speeds up this process.

» Inflammation, swelling and haematomas resolve within a very short period and healing is speeded up. As a result of the pain relief, the muscles relax and tension resolves.
